Specifying the Workspace of the UI

If the inspectIT UI prior 1.7 has been used and storages have been downloaded, the existing "storage" directory has to be move into the "workspace" directory in order to be able to access the local storages further on.

By default, the inspectIT UI uses a directory called `workspace` as destination for configuration files (UI layout and window sizes) and downloaded storages. The directory is located next to the executable file of the inspectIT UI and requires 'write' permissions for proper operation.

Changing the Workspace Directory

If it is not possible to provide 'write' access to the program directory of the inspectIT UI, e.g. if it is located on a read-only network share, a custom directory can be specified which is used as workspace directory.

To specify the workspace directory, the inspectIT UI has to be started with the following command-line argument:

-data [WORKSPACE_DIRECTORY]

The specified directory will then be used as workspace directory.
