The Influx TICK stack provides Telegraf, a solution to gather additional data written in Go. We are currently using InfluxDB as central long-term storage within inspectIT, thus integrating the data via Telegraf is pretty straightforward.

Telegraf comes with a wide range of plugins. Compared with System performance statistics over collectd the plugins available are more targeting more modern environments.

Installation

Please find the installation binaries at https://github.com/influxdata/telegraf. Please note that there is also an experimental package for Windows available.
